Happy Mother's Day!

Who's experienced the delays postage at the moment. It seems to take quite some time for even a simple letter or card to get anywhere, whether it's local and certainly interstate. For those of us who have family and friends overseas, it's taking even longer!!

My older sister lives in the USA and her birthday was mid last month. We had sent parcels to her well before her birthday that she is still yet to receive. She has also posted items to us that we have not yet received.
So with Mother's Day approaching, she asked me to make her a card to give to our Mum (from her) for Mother's Day. My sister is very creative herself, but just knew that it wouldn't make it here in time. So I agreed and after a bit of discussion with her came up with this...

With our dutch heritage, we HAD to use tulips 😆
My sister had also asked me to write her message in it for her, but I suggested that she write it down, take a photo of it & email it to me so that I could print it & place it in the card....that way it would still look like it was from her!!

This has worked out perfectly and I have "her" card ready to give my Mum today (along with mine).
