Let’s Talk Ephemera Packs

Ephemera Packs. 

These often overlooked and definitely underrated little packs, are full of creativity just waiting to be used!

I recently recreated a card directly from the Stampin’ Up! May-August 2026 Catalogue (page 68) and was asked by a fellow crafter “are those stickers from Stampin’ Up!?” My reply was “absolutely!”

As a seasoned crafter, it’s easy to pass over elements like this as we look at stamps, dies and more - especially with the new Hot Foil Machine and all the things that go with it!

But sometimes, it’s nice to put a card together without having to use “everything”.

So, when I recreated the card from the catalogue, I found that another card came together quickly with the same Ephemera pack and Patterned paper that I already had out.

Both cards feature the Everyday Essentials Mix & Match 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper and Sincerely Noted Ephemera Pack. The second card also has elements from the Meant for You Ephemera Pack.

Quick Cards with Wildflower Birthday Suite collection

It's been a while now, and we're almost at the end of both the current Mini Catalogue (January - April) and current Annual Catalogue (2024-2025).

May will see the release of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalogue - which of course will see the arrival of new In Colors.

For now tough, we say goodbye to some favourites from the 2025 January-April Mini Catalogue and the 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue, as well as the retiring 2023-2025 In Colors.

Make sure to order any Ink Refills, cardstock and other items of those colours - while supplies last!

My March Cards to Go Kits featured products from the Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection with the addition of the Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes and some other cardstock.

These cards are quick to make as the Specialty Designer Series Paper features two full pages of die cut elements with Gold Foil accents.

This third card is taken taken from a sample in the Mini catalogue and changed slightly.

 The Gold Weave Trim (mesh type ribbon) as been used on all three cards as have the Party Dots embellishments. You can buy these items individually or altogether in the Suite.

Luckily, I think this Suite collection is hanging around a little longer "online" after the Mini Catalogue sales period has ended!

Blackberry Beauty for my Lockdown Blues

As lockdown is starting to take its toll (we're in week 12 now), I've only just gone back to by craft desk and been able to finish anything. Home-schooling has kept me away from my craft room much more than I'd hoped.

I managed to make my Cards to Go kits this month (after missing last month) and, after finding my creative mojo again, I used products from the new Blackberry Beauty Suite collection to create this:

There are so many lovely elements in this suite from the Gold Shimmer Vellum to the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack (which has the lovey tag and gold leaf pieces in it).

I also had a play with the Pansy dies to make this one:

You may see a theme here for the types of card I am making. This month is the start of the busy birthday season for mine and my husbands family's. So I am trying to get as many as I can started since the first of the bunch is tomorrow!
