70th Birthday card request...

My neighbours are some of my best customers of my cards. I love how much they appreciate a handmade card, especially that they can request custom designs to suit the recipient.

The most recent request was for a 70th Birthday Card for a brother in law that loves Morgan classic cars. This could have been tricky, however they helped me out by supplying a photo of the very car that the "birthday boy" owns! Along with this, they asked if I could use the family tartan (which I had sourced for a previous card for the same family).

I am also lucky enough to have a husband who is quite good with photo editing... he was able to "adjust" the photo to add a "70" on the door of the car so that it looked like a racing number.

Here is the resulting card

They were pretty happy with it!

I used the Stampin' Up! Perennial Birthday stamp set for the "Happy Birthday" sentiment which I clear embossed & Always an Adventure Bundle for the sign posts (all retired).

I also used the brand new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch at the ends of the sentiment.

New Catalogue product preview

Only one day to go till we can all order from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue! It's SOOO exciting!!! 😆
